My neighbor has an '02 SP500HO and has electric problems. The bike can be pull started, runs fine, but no lights, no rad fan, nothing.
Where to start?

 

is battery junk? wont hold a charge.

 

Battery fairly new, machine gets ridden daily,it happened real sudden.
Grounded wire?
Stator?
Gonna try to do some troubleshooting on it this week.

 

Start at the batt. clean and check all connections, take the cables off the selenoid and make sure the nuts behind them are tight, then check at starter and follow all wires and connections, he didnt wreck it recently did he?
