xplorer wireing

Default xplorer wireing

on a 1995 xplorer it has a purple wire that comes from the overide button mines has bee cut and i was wanting to know if it's a hot wire or not

im not sure on this but the override on the older modles(im guessing) are more of a grounding type feture and really shouldnt have 12 volt to it. if you had a tester to use it would be a better way to tell. you trying to rehook it back up to have the override working?

yes i would kike it to work but my awd does not send power to the hubs has 12 volts on the switch but when i push the button light come on but only 2 volts i though this my be the problem
