Default Fianlly got the rear cv joint removed

After wrestling with the rear cv joint on my04 sp 600 for a week, I removed the whole differential and took it to my local polaris dealer to have it removed. I picked it up today . they told me they have never seen one seized in there so bad as this one was. The one side still had the complete cv shaft in the differential where the other side ,the only thing that was there was the cup that slides into the diff. So they welded a chain to the cup and chained it off to a big ring they had cemented into the floor. They hooked the other shaft to a forklift and started to lift the forks straight up trying to pull the shaft out of the diff. They told me that it almost stalled the forklift out the n all of a sudden it sounded like a hundred guns going off at once . It finally broke loose. They had to press the other side out with what they said was 4000 pounds pressure. They thought maybe I was gonna have to buy another whole diff, but they managed to get it out without breaking the housing . I ended up buying 2 cv joints because they ruined my good one trying to get them out .At least I will be able to ride again soon:-)
