Default idleing problem

i have a 98 trailboss 250 2 stroke and when it first starts, it idles fine then after i drive it for about 10 minutes or when it starts to get hot, it will only idle for about 10 seconds than it will idle down lower and lower and finally it will die. do i need to turn up the idle or is this a air flow problem?
thanks for any help

Sounds like a rich fuel problem, especially the "after it warms up" part - possibly even the choke valve is not set correctly, allowing the choke valve to be a little bit open all the time.

Turn the air fuel screw out a half a turn, if it gets worse go in a half.
