I recommend a ****** block. As many have said, it doubles the power (at the cost of pulling slower) of your winch. I haven't had to use it yet but it is very handy. If you are on a trail that a tree is blocking you can attach the ****** block to a tree that is off the trail to pull the tree off the trail towards the tree you have the block on. Use a tree strap and everyone will be happy. I got mine off eBay for cheap money. Instead of 30-40 bucks it cost me about $15 with shipping. Kind of like this one: ****** block
