1999 Scrambler 400 4x4 wont idle

i hope somebody can help me! my carb is clean and the idle adjustment is all the way in and it still wont idle. has new topend. also what do i have to do to disconnect the oil injection? thanks for helping me.

What you could try to do is make sure the spring is around the idle screw and if so dont keep adjusting the idle because you will ware down the sring and mess up your idle and try to just start it and leave the choke on for about 3 min but dont leave it while it isnt running because you dont want to flood the engine

If it runs fine, but won't Idle - try adjusting your throttle cable at the thumb control (screw the cable outwards) - the ETC may be kicking in. Make sure you back your idle adjustment screw on the carb back out.

alright the bike runs awsome , idles smooth , rebuilt carb , but now fuel leaks out of the carb as soonas you shut the bike off. can you adjust the floats , what should i do?

is it leaking out of one of the places where your suppose to have the overflow hose? dont know where else it would leak...
