problem with a 1995 425 magnum filter boot makes it starve
ok i have a 1995 425 magnum 4-stroke. if i pull the intake boot off it runs strong and perfect idels fine if i install it it sounds like it is starving for fuel it pops and snaps and pukes. this is the boot only no filter. i have changed the carburetor stator and cdi. got any bones the throw my way??

THe wire that holds the boot out is probbly missing.You can run without the snorkle boot.
