Default Water pump weep hole leak

HI- I have an 05 sp 700, I notice that it is wet were the weep hole is, and the hose above it is not wet or appear to be leaking. I thought this was fixed for the 2005's?? it only has about 140 hrs on it.. What causes this to leak fluid? it is very little that appears to be coming out..no puddle or anything. just wet to the touch. whats the deal?

I had the same problem happen to me and it is the mechanicl seal, but I have also heard that people that live in cold weather have this problem and it is normal. FYI don't use plain ol automotive coolant it has additives that hurt this seal. Take it to dealer 12 dollar seal 1 hour labor. You can do it yourself but you need a 90 dollar special tool.

it has been used in cold weather, well below freezing...doesnt seem normal to me to have it go out already. Seems like this problem goes years back. Why would they not get it fixed.
