Default Trail break downs

I've never had a wet belt. Heck, they didn't even put a drain plug in for probably 15 years.

I had a slow leak from a nail in a beaver pond sticking in my tire. I pulled the nail out and thought it stopped leaking. It would hold enough air to ride all weekend but was close to zero the next month. Two years later I leak tested it again, and had to pump it up to 30 pounds to finally find a bubble. Then I reamed it out and plugged it. That was my Mud Runners and they worked like brand new the last time I saw my quad. The tread was great too. The rubber was really tough. I usually have a can of fix-a-flat in the quad. Now I have plugs too.

I'm still waiting to see who cut a piece out of a barbwire fence and fixed their drivechain with a piece of wire. I think that guy was full of it.

Bailing wire. Cut a piece feed through the broken link and twist it up good and tight. You can limp out on it. Snapped a chain on a TRX300EX last fall, some wire and a little help from a rope got it out to the trail head. Although its easier to get a #50 link from the hardware store, same pitch as a #520 chain but wider (will fit o ring chain), cheap available and effective.
