When I look at my quad from the back end the it is leaning somewhat to the right. I have the machine on a level concrete floor and you can definitely see the lean. Does anybody else have this or is this normal? My co-worker owns a 2007 Sportsman 600 and he says his does the same thing.

My truck leans to the left but not my quad. You could put your new quad in my old truck and then it would sit level. Sometimes when I park in my driveway I lift the back end, and when the weight comes off the suspension the tires slide closer together. Try that and see if it sits level afterward.

are the spring preloads set the same on both sides? If one is set higher then the other then the bike will lean.

Push the back end down a few times and check the shocks.
See how she gives and then gradually lifts up. Check your
tires too...

Earlier I looked at that sig. and thought R tickwad and it made me smile. If that was the intent I guess I'm a little slow. If that wasn't supposed to be funny I'm sorry R. I can be a tickwad sometimes.

If anyone thinks that sounds dirty, you should know that pillow ticking was the preffered wad/patch material for muzzleloaders for hundreds of years and still is. http://www.sagebrushproducts.com/images/tickpatch.jpg

I assumed it was ArcticQuad but haven't read any bios yet. I don't even know how. I've only been here a few days.

But I'll tell you what, if you spend 25 hours straight in front of the computer it does something to your mind. Not something good either. I was all forumed out when the sun came up on the second day.

Both my Hawkeye and 400HO do it. Found out why. I get off both machines on the right side and it stays compressed cause the tire bites in. Bounce it equally and it looks ok.

One of the lower A-arm bolts came loose from my old 400. It eventually bent the a-arm enough that the ATV was leaning to one side. That was the only reason I knew something was wrong. It was pretty amazing that only one lower a-arm bolt held the hub and wheel on. I must have rode it for months this way. The a-arm was so twisted that it had to be replaced. Lesson learned - use red loctite when reassembling the rear suspension after a bearing replacement.
