my poor trailblazer

yesterday my friend and i were riding down this road and it was in the morning and there was snow on the road and it was very slick, well there is this really sharp turn and on the outside of the turn is about a 5 ft. deep ditch, and its only about 3 1/2 ft. wide. we were doing about 15 mph. down and we could not slow down, we started on the inside of the turn and it slid all the way out side into the ditch, right when we hit me and my friend jumped, and didnot get hurt, but the other side of the ditch is rock, and it caught the tire and prettymuch crumpled the A-ARM, it snapped the tierod off of the strut, and the joint that the tierod goes into is gone, the tierod is bent all to ****. I called the 4-wheeler place and i was surprised when they told me that for a new A-ARM, STRUT, TIEROD, and JOINT THINGY FOR THE TIEROD would only cost $279.00. I was waiting for the guy to say more like 700 dolars. so i am going to get it fixed pretty soon. Watch out those ditches will get you. and when this other kid was comming to tow me out their car broke down. i have bad luck.
