Rhunzi,

Did you take the cap off the front hub? If you did then the fluid that you saw pour out was the fluid that is supose to be in there. It can be replaced with Type F transmission fluid, or Mobil One Synt. oil. Just unscrew the small allen head screw on the hub it self and refill it untill it is full and you should not have any problems with the hubs as long as you have not riden it with out fluid in it. Hope this helps. If that is not what you did explain what you did do and we might be able to help.

And remember, fill the hub with fluid, then rotate the wheel so the fill hole is down to the 10 O'clock position (slightly down from straight to the side) and let the excess drain out. Do not fill it all the way & leave it that full. There needs to be air inside the hub to allow room for the fluid to expand or you will blow out your seals.

Farm, check the hands on your clock, and look at your post.
Mike, the book shows 8:00 or 4:00 O-Clock to drain excess. (Farm, there's always a critic in the bunch ehh?)

Yes, listen to Seacow. I meant 8 O'clock. Go with when I said to drain it to where it pointed slightly DOWN from straight to one side. Many apologies for my mix-up. Too many digital clocks anymore. (hey, I gotta blame something besides old age hehe.)
