Can I lower the clutch engagement rpm on an older 500?

I've got an older Sportsman 500 (1997), nice clean, low mileage unit I picked up dirt cheap.
Anyways, one of the things that bugs me is that in 4HI you have a to rev it a little bit more than I'd like to get going.
In 4LO, it engages & move as soon as you touch the throttle.
I'm wondering if there's a way (kit) to lower the rpm at which the clutch engages by about 200-300.

Belt is brand new.
It's not that it doesn't have any power or feels like it's slipping at all.
It's more that I tend to drive like an old man & want it to more or less engage as soon as I touch the throttle.

That is what I kinda meant, the factory stuff engages off idle. I can't think of a spring lighter than the polaris blue/green. Maybe go with a touch heavier weights. Doc

when it starts moving in low is when it starts moving in high when you shift that is after the clutch in the gear case not the clutch you have something like warn buttons in your clutch or something like that and it is slipping and you don't know it but were it engages in low is were it engages in high it doesn't change when you shift from one to the other.

yeah dr i changed from a stock-blue green which is right off idle to a epi brite green + its major revs diff, even though the specs are real close.
