The disc locks I saw for motorcycles go though the holes in ventilated discs. Are there any for solid discs? One time I was thinking I could put a cable through all 4 wheels so it won't roll, but that won't stop them from cutting the lock or the cable.

I wouldn't doubt it if they were pro's. I had my last truck stolen out of my front yard and totally dismantled. It took 8 months to get it back and complete. Its a terrible feeling. I know how you feel. Im sorry for you!

I havent seen them for solid discs. I have seen adjustable locks for trailers that would fit on a quad wheel and would not let it roll. They are solid steel.

If I can keep two wheels from rolling they aren't going anywhere. Maybe I can buy, or make, something like THE CLUB only it holds two of the wheels together.

You could put a piece of pipe or square tubing through two wheels with a lock on one side of it and pipe welded on the other to block it from slipping through that would work.

I found this after a simple search for atv locks. Looks cool but not in our country.

Here is a chain with alarm on the lock.

Or something like this.

Thanks Ed. I thought if I put a wheel lock like this http://www.bikebone.com/page/B...OD/Trailer-Lock/AL700B on one wheel they could take the wheel off and roll it out on three wheels. Maybe I'm getting paranoid now. I see you can get these keyed alike too. If had one on a front wheel and one on the opposite rear wheel they wouldn't be able to lift either end and roll it, or tip it up on either the left or right wheels and move it. If they take two wheels off and can still balance it enough to roll away, I'll just let them have the darn thing.

Sorry they stole your toy, look here.

I'd buy two big enough to cover the wheel lugs, mount them front/ rear opposite sides.

we were having problems with quads being stolen in my home town. for about 2 years i think there was 10 - 15 stolen. a few people were lucky enuf to get them back. my buddy managed to get his back and the only thing wrong was a dead battery and no fuel. alot of the guys are doing the tire lock type of thing and it works pretty well. i would suggest that it somthing to look into.

Scum like that need to be neutered! How much did they jack-up your insurance or did they just drop you? When I go out of state I always take a few padlocks and use 2 per ATV/Harley and put them to the machine like the disc lock your talking about but just in different spots so it will work on the same principle of the disc lock but in a different rotating point---Sad truth is "Locks only work on honest or lazy people" - if a scumbag wants it bad enough they'll find a way.
