Default Need New Wheels, Help!

Have an 07' 800 2x Deluxe, heavy machine, comes with facory aluminums and 489 carsliles.
In two trips pinched five holes that needed ten plugs to fill em. Run recommended 7lbs.
Combination of a sharp wheel edge, heavy atv, and light duty tire is to blame, and a little
reckless abandon. Getting some new SUPERGRIP MUD B**CH tires (if anyone knows anything
about these please reply) but I want to put them on a wheel that has a more rounded edge. Does
the SUPERGRIP Vortex wheel do well, or is there another recommendation. Opinions Please.

there were a bunch of post a long time ago about the sharp edge rims. if there a 6 ply tire your putting on then i would think you would be fine. try only running 5 lbs instead of 7 lbs. just an idear.

if it is a sidewall hole, then increase the tire pressure so the sidewall is less likely to collapse--- 14" rims are bad for this, unless you have a very solid tire (ie 6 ply)

i guess i shouldnt payed more attenion to where the holes were in the post. duffus is right keep the higher pressure for harder side walls. softer pressure for tread punc. makes them roll over material better for less holes. i also read where 14" rims w/ low air pressure roll the tires off on cormers. dont know if its true or not.
