Anyone seen a light kit for the Scrambler 90's yet? Anyone rigged up their own lights?

Having a Sportsman 90 for my son, I asked my dealer about a light kit. He called Polaris and was told they have no, and plan no light kit for the kid quads. Does anyone know if the battery could handle at least one light?

Had to take my sons 90 in for service to the oil injection system, the light kept coming on. They did an output test on the magneto. It puts out more than enough than needed to run a light. I am looking into a light not so much for night riding but for visbility on the trails. Also think it would be nice if you get caught out on the trail and it starts to get dark to be able to see to get home.

I working on a light for my daughters Scrambler 90.A friend mine used the light off a Trailblazer in his Sportsman 90 and put it in the phony light fixture that is already there, works great.
How about any other mods for the youth quads like a pipe&silencer and aluminam wheels?

Please let me know if it works out. Maybe you could post a material list and instructions. I was thinking about doing the same thing, but fear the plastic in that opening would melt.

I'm very glad to see this thread, and look forward to seeing some of the results. I want to do the same thing. I amazes me that with all the safety information and warnings Polaris bombards us with they would leave out this one very important safety feature.

A headlight is easier to see at 100 yds than a little orange flag.
