Default 2000 4X2 Scrambler Noise

Hello, I have a few problems with my scrambler. It starts right up (pull start battery keeps dying) u run up a few hills or down some logging roads and all seems fine. After 30 minutes or so of riding it starts to make a loud rattel or cluncking sound. Only makes this noise when ur on the throttle otherwise there is no sound ie coasting sound fine. Also seems to be no sound if in neutral and just idling. This sound will get progressively louder and louder as u ride to the point where u can hear it from 40+ yards away after a few hours of riding. Also notice my fan never seemed to come on but engine didn't seem that hot could this be do to bad battery the lights work but only when its running. Any and all advice gladly accepted.

2nd ? if someone knows is about suspenssion they have those cartige things on them do those ever need changed or recharged? Do u or can u lube the shocks mine sorta makes a gree sound when u press it down and back up and seems way to easy to fully load it by simply pressing on the rear.

3rd I've read about some mods u can do to increase the horsepower on these. Any advice on some of the simplest and least expensive things that can be done such as muffler change, sprocket changes etc.

Finally I've owned this quad for a little bit but how or do u change the oil on this thing its like its a sealed transmission or something. What lube (grease) to use in the zirck fittings ie standard white based lithium grease or what is recommended.

I thank you all for any help u can give in advance.

Drive belt? Its chain driven not belt driven. Even when noise is coming power seems to be fine. What would cause this noise only after it gets warm and progressively get louder the longer u ride yet never lose power.

PS: If u are refering to a clutch drive belt ( don't know if it has one honestly ) what side is that on and how to get to it. If its bad looking how easy to replace and aprox cost. Thanks Alan
