i have the normal warantee which i think is the 6 month warantee which is out by now and i have insurance on it. so then i will get the 10,15, or 20W-50 to keep it safer.

just went to the dealer today... i know alot of people dont agree with the dealers, but this guy knows what hes talkin about. i told him about the oil weight in the forums and he says that is WRONG WRONG WRONG! a higher weight in a hotter environment makes it run even HOTTER! the reason for this is a lower weight oil dissipates or spreads out the heat alot better than a higher weight.
so i got that and all the oils and stuff and i just did the grease fittings today, but ill do more maintenance tomorrow and saturday and see how it runs with the new K&N and maintenance monday.

That makes sense to me since a <u>lighter weight</u> of multi-viscosity oil actually has <u>more oil</u> in a given amount, and less of the polymer viscosity stabilizers. More oil in your oil must be a good thing. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
