Default Warn Winch Mount for 06 Wolverine 450

I bought a Mile Marker 2500 winch for my 06 wolverine 450, and have bought two seperate mounting kits, both of which mount to the bumper, not the frame. I would prefer to mount to the frame. Now the winch I bought has the same bolt pattern as a Warn Winch.....does anybody know if the Warn Winch Mount actually mounts to the frame, or does it also mount to the bumper? Anybody who has a warn mount I'd appreciate your input if you also have a wolverine. Thank you.

I'd hate to get my quad stuck and winch out just the bumper.
