I would like to know if anybody knows what size bulb the 2 backup lights take.I was looking last night at mine and they did not work. I took out the plug and there was no bulb in the sockets.I looked in the manual and no info and don't know why they did not come with the bulbs from the factory. Thanks for any info!

1. The lights are not "Reverse Lights" - The are "Work Lights"
2. The Work Lights are not standard on the 500 HO.
3. You need a switch and the bulbs to make them functional. I purchased a kit from http://www.quadovator.com/ that included a switch, bulbs and easy to follow directions.
Note: Quadovator also has a kit that will allow them to function as reverse lights as well.

Good luck - This is a very worthwhile mod for the 500 HO.

 

This is a very worthwhile mod for any ATV that is pre-wired for the lights. They work great!

Thank you guys for the info! I did not know that they were called "work lights" but I will buy the kit.It sounds like the wiring is already up in the pod also so this she be a easy mod.Thanks
