1998 explorer 400 antifreeze leak

Default 1998 explorer 400 antifreeze leak

just by passed oil pump and engine runs ruff 40:1 mix. it also has antifreeze leaking from above exhaust can anybody help thanks

Did you get your leak fixed. I had a similar problem on mine and it was the head gasket. I had tried to save some money and used aftermarket gaskets but it cost me in the long run. Went back to Polaris gaskets and that problem was solved.

mine was leaking wherethe coulent hose ataches to the head it sprayed on the head after i cut a little of the hose all is well as for the ruff idle check the pulg thay usuly take 32:1

thanks upon further investigation i found a drain plug on frame, have no idea how it came out but should fix leak. will try new plug for ruff idle
