Oil Level Light on Scrambler
#1
I have a 1995 Scrambler (2 stroke of course) and I'm am not 100% sure what the oil level warning light is for. I think it is for the oil mixer and not the counter balancer? Surely it's not for either?
I don't think I have a problem as I pre-mix, but after I did 2 things the light came on. I changed the counter balancer fluid and at the same time, I re-installed the oil mixer reseviour that I took off a few months ago. I decided I like the way it looks better with the resevoir on.
I am thinking I maybe connected something I shouldn't have when I put it all back together?
Thanks for you help..........

If you hooked up oil tank sensor, light will come on,if you are premixing and have intake injector plugged, disconnect sensor

I never heard of that Doc, but I like it.
Not as much as keeping the injection, but you may as well use the tank for something.

Thanks guys. Actually, I disconnected the red / white wire as soon as OLD POLARIS TECH told me what was going on. The mixer light never came on again. And I rode for one hour thereafter. I was having so much fun, I forgot to come back and tell you thanks.
