Ok. that seems to move a little (same amount on each side) It turns about 1/4 - 1/2 inch. Looks like the play in there is between the lower u joint to the upper u joint.

Thanks!!!!

That doesn't sound bad to me. The wobble is from something else.

Ok. I just jacked it back up and gave it some more gas. When the right rear starts spinning faster it starts shaking the entire rearend and sounds like its gonna fall apart. I cant really tell where its coming from.

I think you need to get your gearcase rebuilt. I sure wouldn't ride it anymore.

Ouch. What should I expect to pay from a reasonable shop?

Thanks for all of your help!

Jack up remove tires, check hub play, bearing, run with tires off see if wobble still there if not possibly tire or rim or again too much sealant.

Stumbled across this thread, you had the exact same problem I'm having. Just wondering if you got it fixed and how so. I just replaced the rear wheel bearings to no avail. Still wobbles horrible on pavement and seems like something is catching when I have it jacked up and running.

If you have the older model with the u-joint drive shafts like the original poster had, worn u-joints can cause problems like this. Just check for excessive u-joint play when jacked up. Turn the wheel back and forth and look at the u-joints and yokes. If really worn u-joints can wallow out the yokes if this happens cheaper to replace these drive shafts if this happens.Expensive drive shafts and you can't convert to cv drive shafts.

Possible break issue? Maybe the caliper isn't releasing, and dragging the pads on the rotor?
Just an idea, I guess.
