Hello-

I am interested in how to find a new rear transmission switch for my 2000 xplorer 400.

Mine is working to light the neutral light; but not the AWD. I removed the switch and tested it. I am considering just jumping the wires so the neutral light still works, and the AWD is on as long as the switch is on, regardless of shifter position (exc. reverse)

I know I should just call the dealer. I went ahead and just wired the AWD in low range on so as long as the AWD switch is on, I'm in AWD. Still have to mash Rev/O to get it in reverse. But as long as I know I need to kick off the AWD switch when I park it, no worries.
