ok so as you all kno i had this problem with only one front wheel spinning.. ok well me and a guy tore apart the front end and followed the wires and noticed that where the wire coating ended twards the strut housing it melted so much it fused both wires together... ok found problem fixed it... wahla... all four tires worked... so went riding the next morning and worked all good in mud and trails all day.. then i noticed it quit working when i tryed to use my winch... it may have quit working before this but this is when i noticed... the winch also killed my battry and i had to get a new one... i thought since the 4x4 was electric this maybe the problem but no.. This is what i have done....

checked power from AWD box,,,,
checked power at wheel...
changed fluid 2x in both wheels...

would appricate any help in the matter thanx guys

put a tester on to se what you have for voltage w/ it off and then w/ it reved up a little to check the charging system. should be around 13.5 to 15 volt area make sure there isnt any shorted out wiring or chaffed wires rubbing as the winch runs stricky off the battery.

 

i guess i dont quite understand what im checking for? does that have to do with the checking of the 4x4?
