I have a 2007 polaris 500 EFI, and it's boging down when i give it gas in both neutral and in gear. Ive checked the intake and muffler for mud and water, and I know it's getting fuel and the filter is clean but I'm running out of options. Would anyone have suggestions.

 

Check connections on sensors, check for fault code on speedo?

 

I checked the codes and it pulled up a ground for fuel pump, but it was running fine. then I rode a little bit and the check light went off. but I blew the mechanical seal on the water pump a few weeks ago so I changed that. and it was doing fine. now this problem is happening. I don't understand the check engine light. It runs kinda like it had water in the cylinder. but when it first started it would clear up after a few seconds, but it just got worse.

 

Check your carb. The needle might have jumped. One of my buddies did that not to long ago.
