Default tranny fluid? 02 500 sprtsmn

I went to buy my oil/filters at my local dealership like I always do, and i decided to go ahead and get some tranny fluid as well. The guy behind the counter tells me that I need AGL tranny fluid, and rear angle drive fluid. I have never messed with it before, so I assumed he knew what he was talking about. So I get home and change my motor oil, filter, & front diff. fluid. When I start looking at the rear of the bike, I looks to me like it is all one piece, and there is no rear differential. there is a Yellow dipstick, and I assumed this was the transmission fluid. So I go back to the dealer and demand to speak to a technitian, and the tech tells me that it is all one piece, and all i need is the AGL fluid. I say great, that is what I thought too.

So now I am looking at it, and I cant find a drain hole/plug! The new ones at the dealership had hex head drain plugs on the trannys, but all mine has is a boss with no plug in it (in the same place as the new ones).

Where is the drain plug?
Was the technitian right about the fluid?
Do I refill through the dipstick hole?

Thanks!
Phillip

My 01 has a drain bolt under the tranny. Yes the rear diff and tranny is a all in one set up on the 500 SP. I just use a full synthetic chain case oil that I use in my sleds tranny/chaincase as well.

Drain plug is under the tranny, you can use synthetic 80-90, youll be able to smell the 90 w when you drain it.

I just changed the fluid on my 02. It's under the tranny. When I filled it, I used a small funnel in the dipstick hole.
