Default 96 500 sportsman...how do I flush the radiator?

Everything is running great with the HO head, carb, pipe, etc... but it is running REALLY hot. I had to remove the rad hose to replace the head so im thinking maybe I got soem air in the system. What/how is the best way to flush the system of any air bubbles and to help it run cooler?

thanks

Run with radiator cap open, adding coolant as it goes down. You will see bubbles and if thermostat, water pump ok,will usually see big gulp when fan kicks on,top off coolant, replace cap. Sometimes I have to use a handfull of shop towels to keep from puking out while purging air from system. Just takes a little while. Good luck.
