Any word on what the line ups will be for 2009
and when they will be available?

I am interested to know:
- Will they have a bigger bore Sportsman (900 or 1000cc)?
- Is there any chatter about Sportsman redesign?
- Power steering features in the Quads?

I'm guessing there will be HUGE changes. I say this because I just bought two '08's and it never fails when I buy something they'll change next years and make it a hundred times better!

There is alot of talk on Highlifter about the '09 lineup but it's all just speculation I'm sure.

 

Yea looking for someone who may have a sneak peak out there! Insider's view maybe?

 

Howdy R'.........Polaris released their new product on the net late July last year....whadda ya think? Only twenty days left in this month.....

 

From what I've heard there will be an 850 engine, redesigned front end with A arms and power steering. Supposedly there is a sport model to compete with the Can-Am renegade as well.

I'll believe that when I see it however. I've got a bad feeling it will be same old same old with "exciting new graphics and bold styling!".

 

PRC forum says big announcement July 23.

From what I hear they won't have belts on a few models . MAJOR CHANGES ! Fluid drive is the buzz .

Just rumors - but thats the word.

Hopefully it's not as big of a dissapointment as Yamaha's was.

 

.....and I'll be surprised if Polaris doesn't come out with power assist steering. Whenever the new model subect comes up, it seems that power steering is mentioned. I would like to see the pull start on the bigger engines in case of battery failures. That was one of the clinchers on my choice for a 500. I am going to get any X2 with ADC this fall....my 2007 X2 500 camo has done me well (no ADC) but I will go to the 2008 X2 700 or the 2009 X2 ??? if any major benefits. No pull rope within sight on the 2008 X2 700 but what the heck.
