It started making screeching noise from tranny. I got the gearcase out, but, i cannot get the hubs off of the rear shaft. They are suppose to just pull off. I have welded angle iron onto them and tried using a porta-power with no luck. Until i get these hubs or collars off the shaft i cannot get into the gearcase. =/

Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen or maybe an idea as to how to remove them. I'm going back to the shop now, scared i'm going to have to cut something...

Had to cut them off... this whole job has been a waste of $$ shoulda bought a new one.... Play and Learn.
