Default Idles low then stalls need help

I have a Polaris 700 Sportsmen EFI 4x4.
I was riding it with some friends and we were going through some mud and all of a sudden I hit a tree. The front end was smashed and the fan was hitting the axle.
We got the frame all unbent but don't know of any damage being done to any parts.

The quad does have problems idling though. It will idle at around 800 rpms instead of 1100 then it will stall out. I know our battery is bad and it has to be charged a lot but would that cause it to do this?

I really don't know what I am talking about I will admit but any help would be nice.

Idle adjustment should be on the throttle cable. Twist it towards the grip.

yes a bad battery could cause that as it needs a min. of 12.5 volts to maintain the elc system.make sure the air filter is clean as well. if dirty clean/replace. even the throtle body plate can be dirty causing this.

u don't wanna adjust the idle on the grip either, then when u turn one way or the other its gonna rap up and cause an accident, the only way to really fix that is have the dealer recalibrate the throttle position sensor.

Well, I checked the air filter like recommended and it wasn't even dirty but I cleaned it anyways.
When I started it stalled out again but then I started it back up and it ran perfect.
It was going a little faster than before to which surprised me because the filter really wasn't dirty.
Maybe it was a combination of battery and filter, i don't know what i'm talking about, im just a teenager.
So if it hapens again Ill have my parents take it in and have it checked out.
Thanks.

O and I read something about reflashing?
It was on a different forum and the guy had similiar things happen, does anybody know about this?

reflashing isnt something i beleave you will need on yours as it reprograms the comuter for like high alttudes. make sure the boot between the engine and the throttle body isnt cracked as well. some had some issues w/ the 700's. did you check for any codes it might have stored. if you have your manual go in and read for to run a dianostic code and also check the voltage of the battery off and started and reved up part way. get back to us.
