330 valve adjustment?

Default 330 valve adjustment?

i have an 08 trail boss 330, its time for my first service. rather than take it to the dealer i think i might try and do it myself. i can change the oil and all the other stuff the only thing ive never sone before is adjust the valves. what do i need? and how do i go about doing it?

Default 330 valve adjustment?

Just change oil and filter,check/clean prefilter and main air filter.valve adjustment not needed on breakin service.Good luck

thanks alot! saved me a bunch of money! they were saying about 110 to 120 bucks to have it done there

Default 330 valve adjustment?

Not really that difficult to do yourself if you're handy with a wrench.

Hardest part was seeing the timing mark in the recoil housing for me.

oh yhea i second that one scooter! the timing mark very hard to find but not too hard to adjust valves just did my 2000 325 trailboss and it wasnt bad if your a little mechanically inclined!
