Does anyone know when these are coming to the dealers? I called about three dealers in my area and no one has any clue when they are getting these in. A couple of the guys I talked to on the phone had no idea that the 09's were even announced, or that they have an 850 with power steering.

 

I called my dealer today here in Ontario Canada and he said he will be getting his in late August. You guys in the states may get them sooner. I personally love the looks of the 09's. My biggest complaint with mine was the location of the rad. It always seems to get clogged with mud, but with the new rad location and being 20% larger it should be better. Their pricing is still out to lunch though. The canadian price for the 550 without EPS is $9299, and the american price is $7499.

 

What is the downside to picking up a bike in the US. I see the 850XP with EPS is $9599. I'll bet my left nut that that bike here in good ol' expensive Canada will be over $13,000!
Same as the Razr- its $2700 more in Canada. I think I will be picking my next bike up south of the boarder!

So, it sounds like we may hear something about when they will have them tomorrow. Other dealers I called also said that their managers are in Las Vegas and won't be back until Monday, I guess that is where the big meeting is.

i stopped in to a dealer today and he said the show was over and asked me if i heard about the new 850 and i said the forum was all over it. lol. the 550 is a single i beleave he said would be the best seller he thought.

 

I stopped at the dealer yesterday and asked them if they would take my 800 on a trade for a new 850. The OWNER asked me what kind of 850 I was talking about, and I told her the Sportsman 850 XP of course, and she said that there was no such thing. When I told her that Polaris released the new model line the night before, she told me that she knew nothing of it and that the Polaris website hasn't been updated with any of the new models. When I told her that it was, she didn't believe me so I told her to check the computer right then.

Just goes to show you how little some dealerships know or care about their products. As has been said before, most of the salespeople we encounter know less about what they're selling than we do.

 

They will also be offering a kids sized rzr 170cc.

 

My local dealer say August 19th, is when they will receive there first 09 models. And he will call me when they arrive.
