I have been recently thinking, after reading and subscribing to this forum for sometime now, does Polaris ever take time to check out what their owners/potential owners are talking about? I can seriously see how this kind of forum would be beneficial to Polaris as a whole. Feedback, recommendations, and comments alone would be sufficient to increase sales, and solve a lot of problems that current owners have. Am I the only one here or what?

ya i think they do, according to the owner of the site all of the manufactures read these forums. But what they do with this information is up to them. maybee the guy reading these at polaris is also the one who answers the e-mails to polaris. most likely not a person who has any influence in any of the future designs.

SWAC1,

Some of the other forums I attend do have the vendors on line regularly. One is ABIT, the computer motherboard manufacturer, in Taiwan. Some of the problems have been addressed personnaly by their rep.
For a while General Instruments, responded to a forum on a satellite receiver.
The person who responded had to identifiy themselves as a rep for GI. This kept the uninformed from taking a response as "gospel", when it didn't come from the manufacturer.

It would be nice if someone from Polaris, Honda, Yamaha, and others could respond to some of our more technical questions about their product. They must understand that we, the customer, really do a lot of long term research and development (R&D) for them. We do not want compensation, but honest answers.
Thanks

I wonder which one will step up to the plate first and actually do that? I think it is an outstanding idea!
