Ultimate Trail Machine

Why not try the new Sportsman XP 850 when they hit the dealers? It will be sporty in spite of its weight (70 HP) and if steering effort is an issue you can get power steering. Just a thought.

Horsepower does not make a sporty machine.
For really rocky stuff one of the IRS machines is going to be the way to go. For the track stuff and easier trails like I said in another thread I would take the raptor. From my experience I wouldn't really say one is faster than the other (525 vs 700R). I don't know anything about the Honda really other than initial reviews haven't been super.

It depends on what you call trails. On our trails you better have 4x4 and a winch, a Outlaw or 700xx would just be getting towed most of the time. Both the Outlaw and 700xx have no low hug rear drive chain sprocket so they could handle the boulders on the trail without smashing things up to bad at least.
