Default 08 Sportsman 800 suspension popping??

When I worked for GM most of the studs that were welded to the cars had something already on it like a drop of Loc-Tite that's dried up. Polaris should have that on all the bolts.

Most of the nuts on the machine are self locking nylok style. I suspect that the nuts didn't back off but rather as the machine gets broken in and things move around and settle into position it can result in loose bolts/nuts. Also bolts can stretch and bolted materials can compress. Hence the reason alot of applications require re-torque at a specified interval after assembly, such as head bolts for example.

The Nylok company makes nuts and bolts with the a coating on the threads so you don't need regular nyloks. That's what they had at GM. I think they should use them on the whole quad. I never even thought about stretching and compression causing problems. I was thinking they just weren't tight enough to start with, or vibrated loose.
