My buddy had the same thing happen. All he had to do is replace the throttle cable. He was told it was stretched out. You may have a loose nut. Pull back the rubber boot thats 3-4" below your thumb throttle and loosen stop nut and tighten down. This may tell you it's your cable. Don't worry... There are some excellent techs on this site that I am sure will help you. I am not a technician, just speaking from experience. Good Luck

If you ride frequently in dusty conditions sometimes dust gets sucked into the throttle body....Take the rubber boot off between the airbox and the TB and check inside the TB.......Open the butterfly and see if there is and grime buildup in the and on the butterfly.......Clean with a throttle plate cleaner and a Q tip......This happened to me and that was the fix....Let us know........

The throttle cable shouldn't cause a low idle. The idle is controlled by a set screw on the throttle body. I have seen the cable cause high idle if too tight, and stalling if too loose. The stalling is caused by the safety feature that kills the engine if the cable or throttle plate sticks. Sounds like it is possibly running on a single cylinder. Is it running real rough and low on power? What were you doing when it started? Check the simple stuff first, plug wires, injector harnesses, ect. Anything disconnected that shouldn't be.

i'm pretty sure it is dropping off to one cylinder and it gets real choppy and rough
I checked out all the plug wires and stuff
it started right after I did a half a$$ wash job just to get the big chunks
tomorrow i'll adjust the ETC cable and get back with what I find
Thanks for the help guys

From the manual:
Symptom: Idle too low(less than 900 RPM warm)
Plugged air filter
Leaking injector(rich condition)
Belt dragging
Throttle stop screw tampering
Troubleshooting for Rich mixture adds:
Poor quality fuel
Fouled spark plug
and TPS setting incorrect
Of those I would look at the air filter, plugs and the injectors. Possible the TPS is bad as well but you would think it would throw a code. How do the plugs look? is one or both wet with fuel or have alot of carbon build up(signs of running rich)?
Apparently code 25 is common and can be tripped by shifting too fast or with too much rpm ect.
