Still a major trouble spot for Polaris though...........Caper........</end quote></div>
I thought the ECM equipped ATVs were dead in the water if that part did not work?</end quote></div>

Their primary purpose was for charging and for fan operation, have replaced some for "showing" bad on load tester, some for partial failure, not charging or running hot because of ecm failure for fan,BUT replaced them with the same crappy Chinese ecms! THEN the latest bulletin! Some of my customers will have multiple replacements as posted above also. Chinese ecms, Russian bearings, switches from Mexico! I used to complain about Taiwanese electronics and bearings,But after all this I realize that they wern't so bad after all!

Our first bulletin was to check modules with the Handy Dandy polaris supplied tester,if showed bad, then replaced module with one "certified"that had a green dot showing factory tested "good",plus all ones that we tested that showed good WE had to mark a little green dot also! THEN after I tested about about 50-60 modules and passed them, another bulletin arrived explaining ALL modules bad, return tester and all to be replaced with the new AMERICAN MADE modules! Made me want to PUKE! This could explain why yours has been done twice! Have done the same thing myself on several machines!</end quote></div>
Same here. It is really bad that Polaris have handled the situation as bad as they have. At least over here in Sweden. First time the ecm broke on my brand new 500 EFI -07 I had to pay for the ecm myself. Second time they gave me a replacement ecm. I HOPE that was the last time I ever have to get an ecm for my machine. Very satisfied with it exept for the electrical/ecm problems.

TY Caper. Only had it a short time, but it sure was in good shape.
But I love my Poo exept for the fuss with the ecm and the bushings for the swaybar.
Removed the swaybar and that I can really recommend. Really got it going better in the rough, and almost no difference on the road (the biggest issue on the road must be the soft front end and the camber).
