NGK Spark Plugs
Can use BKR6E,but if run wfo most of the time use bKR7E which is a colder running plug.Hotter heat range Plugs ( lower number, hotter running plug) do not put out more spark, but are designed to run at a hotter temp range. Have only used high dollar iridium plugs in race bikes, plus according to specs are supposed to help electronics last longer! DONT know about that statement though!

Thanks guys, and thanks for your help earlier OPT (with my overheating issue). I ended up buying a digital ohm reader $19.99. I got some good instruction from the new dearlership. They had me fire up the machine and watch the ohm reading on the sensor on the block. I went from 1600 ohms (cold) down to 450 ohms. I unplugged the fan and only got it 300 ohms. The fan will only come on when it reaches 250-230 ohms. I replaced the sensor on the block $30. My fan kicks on right at 250 ohms. I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you don't know, but thanks again... Jeff

Believe it or not, loss of power was due to ETC cable loosened. I adjusted to the manufacture specs 1/8 - 1/16" of play. This did not affect my idle - still at around 1150 - 1200. Overheating prob fixed with a temp sensor replaced, Thanks again............Riding in the morning!!!!
