Does anyone know how much pressure the fuel system should have? I pulled the fuel line off right under the tank and turned the key on, it just kind of trickled a few ounces (if that) didn't seem to have much pressure. Also, the spark plug doesn't seem to be wet at all. It is getting spark.

 

try spraying carb cleaner not starting fluid in the carb if it runs its fuel related....

Fuel pump pressure 39psi+_3

80% of all EFI problems are caused by wiring harness connections . Follow a common sense approach when disgnosing a potential EFI issue .

Turned out to be the crank sensor. hurt the wallet, but all is well now. READY TO RIDE!

 

Thats why I love my 500 carb a lot less stuff to worry about but I'm glad you got it fixed .

 

I know I am replying to an old thread. I have no fuel pump noises on prime. it sat for 3.5 years. on low fuel. can it be the pump?
