Hey , I got this Big Boss and had it stripped down , primed, painted, most are new decals, new mid shock, bored to 73mm, rebuilt the carb, list goes on and all , pics are worth the view if your interested,, just wondering what it would be worth- for those of you that know your polaris's as I havent seen many or any of these around.
Thanks

That is the nicest 89 I've ever seen! GREAT job on the rebuild! No idea what it's worth but, after all that work I'd keep it. Nice!

Contact Polaris, they might buy it from you for their museum, and great work.

WOW!!!!!!!!!

Kudos to you on the restoration.

I thought I was having a flash back to when I used to work on them.
I know that it took a lot of time and money to restore that. I'm sure you will never get the amount of money out that you put in. I just hope you had fun doing it.

Beautiful work !! looks like it just rolled off the showroom, As to how much? I have no idea at all. I would keep it myself or I like the idea of the polaris museum stated above.

It came from a methodist church camp in Illinois and had all service done at the dealer, when they used it. It still had all but one original tire on it. They parked in a shed after being told it would take $1400 to put new rings and piston in it and bought 2 new 4x4 mules. I dont really have anywhere to ride it ,, just down teh street so far and picked it up from my wifes dad to repair and sell. It runs like a dream,, now,,

Thanks
