I have a sportsman 700 04.5 efi. I have been pleged with problems for some time. FINALLY I fixed the problem. get some thick insulated tape, cover the bottom of your gas tank. then put some pipe rapp from the head down about a foot. I found that the exhaust pipe is too close to the tank . the gas get's to hot causeing the bike to vapor lock. this will intern will cause your fuelpump to run dry. therefor causeing premature pump failure. I hope this will help someone who has had the same type of problems.
