i really don't know so i decided to ask here..
the other day i went ridin... cpl hill climbs... after the hill climbs i notice a sound when i accelerated... sounds like something slippin or grindin... any ideas?

 

Hope its just the belt,check for glazing,excessive stretch. While your at it check chain and sprockets for broken teeth on trans sprocket or same as belt too much sag,could be jumping teeth. If none of these could be in trans. Good luck

 

Like Old Polaris tech said but if that isnt it you may need to look inside the tranny at the Silent Chain.

 

im somewhat of a newb when it comes to atv... where would i find the belt.... it just got back from a mechanic and they said the chain was good

 

i found out wat it was, it was the belt(thank god & the usa)... anywayz $65.00 for the Polaris belt, but they also had an aftermarket belt for 23.99(???), i think ima get the polaris belt. thanks OPT for the help, sorry for takin so long to post but ive been working and have had other family problems... THANKS AGAIN
