primary clutch
#1
Going to haydays this weekend and am going to look for a primary while im there to fit a 01sportsman 500 w/ebs. What years will fit? Are these p85's or p-80's? and will newer models/ and bigger engines still fit minus the springs/weights being different?

To piggy off of that, if I go with these 27" Mudlites pretty soon, I heard others
recommend I upgrade my primary spring as well in my clutch. What kind/color/type,
do they come with instructions for installation for us weekend mechanics?

You can get by with just lightening up on the secondary spring tension to compensate for the bigger tires.

On the non roller secondarys you take them apart and set the spring to 1-1 from the 2-2 setting. On roller secondarys you have to change springs
you factory manual has the settings and how to do it too.
