Default Winch Contactor

alrighty, i have a warn 1.5ci on my hawkeye and the contactor is now just clicking. i have looked on the warn site and it appears that i can not order the exact replacement contactor, the ones on the site use the power wires with the nut connections not the plug. anyone got a clue where to look for this probably expensive part??

Default Winch Contactor

well after some searching last night i have found one.. this is what the whole package looks like.. now my next question is should i spend the money on this to get my warn fixed? because for about $40 more i could buy a venom or gorilla 2500#
and the winch was rebuilt and has not been used, i guss when i took the winch off to fix it i must have got some moisture in the contactor box, i took the winch to my dealer and he hooked it up and tested it so i know the winch if functional.

You don't HAVE to use the Warn solenoid, you can use any sealed 12V solenoid, they sell them on Ebay or most parts stores will carry them as well. Just pull the blue and yellow wires from the old solenoid so you can use the warn plug with the new solenoid.

im going to buy the linked part tomorrow when the eagle craps.. i figure it will be worth it, it is a nice easy package to install and it looks real clean, next time i know what not to buy though, these "factory" kits are a pain in the ****. i would have rather had the regular contactor like you described. however i think you get what you pay for and im not soaking money into cheap parts.
im just getting things ready for when the snow starts falling
