Default CV Boot Clamp

Having trouble getting new clamps done up on front outside CV clamps, anyone help with how you do it with pliers?? thanks

i wouldnt do with pliers wont be tight enough i made a tool works great.. maybe go to auto dealership and see if they can do it

use a small channel locks, get it on the first setting, reposition, then tighten it more.

just make sure theres no grease under the boot area where the clamp goes and make sure its tight.

If you are going to continue cv boot repair on your own machines, the pincher type cv pliers are a good investment,not expensive and makes this job so much easier. Good luck
