CODE 41 & 46
#11
Also just disconnect positive battery lead for about 5 minutes and see if codes still show up! As posted above speedo NOT always accurate on codes! Good luck.

Not always, because system still has power, better to disconnect and eliminate ALL power, sometimes like rebooting a computer(which is what you are doing). Keep us posted! Good luck.

it will be the t-bap sensor wire harness to blame, I have seen this 25 times this year already, the sensor hardly ever fails usually the wire breaks inside of the wire insulation, so you will not be able to see that it is broken. as far as it works now, probably just making contact inside of insulation, usually you can move wire and it will work again for a short time.
part number is 2875542 t-bap harness, should only take your dealer half an hour to repair this if not they are trying to screw you.
t-bap stands for temperature and barometric pressure sensor

Spoke to the service manager at my dealer. He said they ordered 5 and they are in tranit. Should arive this week so I will bring it in early next week. I love to ride this machine but I have had it in the shope almost for 1 month of the 5 months I have owned it. Hopefully this is the last time for a long time!!!

I just had the same thing happen on my 05 700EFI. Turns out the sensor wire had worn thru the insulation and finally broke the wire. It was wearing on the breather tube going running between the air box and engine. Replaced with the kit tied the new harness up and away from the breather tube and all is well again.
