I use a Purolator PL14612 (not the P14612) oil filter and Mobile one 0-40 oil for the engine, as close to 90wt as I can get synthetic rear tranny oil, And only use the Polaris oil for the front tranny. (I think the LT fluid for your year, not the demand)

just make sure you use the polaris oil for the front end or you will have issues down th road. imo.

Yep, I wrote the first post wrong. I didn't explain it fully like you did, I fixed my first post. I thought of one thing and posted another.

Another Mobil 1 user, and NOT a Fram filter.

Does the M1-110 have the check valve in it??
The PL14612 does and the P14612 doesn't.

Why don't u want to use the polaris stuff? It is just as expensive as anything else and sometimes cheaper.

It blows my mind that people have this hard-on for not using the oil change kits from polaris.

Polaris must of changed there oil . I just picked up two oil change kits the other day both kits numbered the same 2876738 . Inside filters were the same number but the oil was different . The one kit the bottles were labeled Premium 4 ATV/Utility # 2871281 the other kit the bottles was labeled PS-4 Plus ATV/Utility/Snow performance # 2876244 . Looks like maybe Polaris has improved there oil .

As for the price I have a Amsoil Commercial account and buying the Polaris oil kit is still alittle cheeper but not much .
