Where can i find a d-ring that fits right in to the 1.25 reciever on the sportsman? Ive looked everywhere and havent come up with anything that fits across the reciever.

Any type of farm supply type store, tractor supply, rural king, orschelin, etc. I have a shackle that fits across mine but the screw pin is too big to go through the hole in the reciever so I just use a regular hitch pin to hold it in place. I don't leave it in`place all of the time but just use it when I need to hook up the tow strap to jerk Hondas and stuff outta the mud. Works like a dream!

HD is going in the right direction...farm supply stores carry many different width and length shackles. Your problem is finding the exact pin size. You can purchase the hitch/shackle, like this...http://www.central4wd.com/cate....aspx?page=id%7C59836

or something like this will fit over your reciever, but you'll have to use your 1/2 pin, it will have a little slop but...http://www.1st-chainsupply.com...als/gpfarmshackle.htm

This was a quick search...google "shackle" and look into the supply stores, thousands of shackles to choose from, you should be able to find something that will work.

You can also use a drawbar without a ball and put a clevis in the hole. I have an extra one for my truck and used it to yank out another tree yesterday. When I pull the trailer I put the other drawbar in but right now I have a 4th brake light in the reciever.
