I have a 02 Polaris Trailboss and want to upgrade to a heavier spring rated for more of a payload capacity. Is this possible? Where would I begin if so? Thanks for any help.

 

Can order heavier springs from Polaris dealers,I've installed several,BUT may be able to find after market cheaper! Other members should chime in on where and cost! Good luck

 

I changed out the rear on my 98 explorer...stock spring was brown. To light when I added a load. I bought the black pure polaris spring from the dealer...PN#17041303-067, that may or may not help. I pulled the shock and had the dealer swap the spring.
My dealer is cool, they charged me $20 labor...took them 10 miuntes while I waited.

In the end I had $54 into it, $34 for the spring and $20 labor. $54 well spent. Much better with a load or passanger.

A dealer shouldn't have a problem finding the right HD spring for you.
